With over two decades of professional experience, working in both the UK and Europe, I founded eleVAte in 2020 to provide top-end professional project and business support for solo business owners and entrepreneurs.

As a solo business owner, do you often feel so overloaded, that pushing yourself out of your comfort zone just seems too much of a mountain to climb? 🧗

The trouble is, when you’re running a business, that seemingly out of reach space between fear and discomfort is where the most important work lies…and is where you’ll really be able to scale your business to new heights. 📈

But that kind of progress doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Here are three practical ways I help my clients move into their growth zone:

1️⃣ Brainstorm and strategise your growth ideas. Clients will often come to me for this to gain focus and clarity, as well as a plan to move forwards with. A 90-minute Strategy Session can sometimes be all you need to kickstart a growth phase!

2️⃣ Learn a new skill. Get your head around a tool or system that’s crucial to business development. A Power Hour could be the perfect solution to finally having the skills and confidence to introduce a new tool, system or platform into your everyday business.

3️⃣ Delegate some of your regular workload to your VA, freeing time up for you to work on the growth zone. Or maybe a ‘divide & conquer’ approach is all what you need…sometimes working in tandem on a challenging project is the secret ingredient to getting the job done well! 👌🏻

Despite being a ‘virtual’ assistant, I actually work around 90% from the same place! So, to try something a bit different, I decided to take an early Easter trip down to London for a couple of days, to see how I’d get on working from there! Part working, part sightseeing, it was a great way to enjoy a bit of downtime whilst still keeping the business ‘open’! 🧡

I definitely plan to take more working trips like this in the future! So if you’re a virtual worker like me, where would you suggest I travel to next?! 🤷‍♀️

🌷 Finally got round to sharing some pics from the stunning new Tulip Garden, that opened last weekend in Warwickshire!

With the weather so good in the UK at the moment, it was the perfect time to feel transported over to the Continent, where you can admire 500,000 tulips in over 100 varieties…all from the local surroundings of Hatton! 🌷☀️🇳🇱

Highly recommend a visit whilst tickets are still available! 👌🏻

(Top tip: don’t leave before trying the Dutch pancakes…so so good! 🥞😋🍓)
